The 56th Grammy Awards celebrated the biggest music night of the year on Sunday night. Typically edgier in style, the Grammy Awards red carpet is always an eclectic mix of bold and brazen fashions. But this year, the stylish singer starlets seemed to veer towards old school Hollywood glam than modern day punk. The former trumped the latter for most fashionable on the red carpet.

Chrissy Teigen

Mrs. John Legend had the Midas Touch in a brilliantly reflective gold strapless Johanna Johnson front-slit gown with an exaggeratedly gorgeous train trailing behind her. The high-wattage stunner dazzled on the red carpet as best dressed, hands down!

A vision in red, the colorful singer took our breath away in a Joanna Johanssen strapless satin-paneled gown. The sweetheart neckline, corset bodice and satin mermaid-style tail flattered her figure in more ways than one! Brava, Pink!

Taylor Swift

The pop princess positively sparkled in a Gucci Première gold lame short-sleeve fitted gown. She glittered and wowed with a crystal mesh overlay and crystal gemstone neckline.

Paula Patton

The gaudy long-sleeved, zebra-print sequin disaster, err… Nicolas Jebran dress is a prime example of why Mrs. Robin Thicke is perpetually on the Worst Dressed list. The call of the wild turned her into fashion roadkill…

Kaya Jones

Who is Kaya Jones? And did she know she was not attending the AVN awards? She was shameless in a skin-tight black leather latex gown with extremely high slits ending at her nether regions. Good to know modesty is part of her style vocabulary.

Sara Bareilles

The “Brave” singer took an unwise leap of faith in a frumpy Blumarine frock of floral white appliqués. Regardless, the shapeless number unfortunately did nothing for her figure and had us wondering if her style inspiration was Bjork.
