T-minus three days and counting til we bid adieu to summer 2013 on Saturday, Sept. 21. Luckily, Mother Nature has blessed Michiganders for the next two days of balmy weather (perhaps not sun-filled, but we'll take the warmer temps for as long as possible).

New York City was all a flurry with designers sashaying their most promising looks for spring 2014 at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  Just as we're diving into our fall wardrobes, we need to reserve time to plan what to wear for next spring – six months and counting. 

If you should ever find yourself in a style slump, just know that you'll find solace in the classics. Black & white and polka-dots are two timeless trends that are universally appealing and combinedly complementary.
