IMG_0179As many fashion designers, editors, and models have said "Au revoir, Paris!", we can't help but look back one last time at the amazing Spring/Summer '15 collections showcased during Paris Fashion Week. From Sept. 24 to Oct. 4 many editors traveled to the homeland of couture to see what designers had in store for Spring 2015. We cannot help but thank the editors for filling our Instagram feeds with videos of runway finales, along with photos of macaroons and Eiffel Tower selfies. Many of the collections seemed to channel a pretty groovy 1970s vibe. From psychedelic prints and pattern tights to intricate lace and baby-doll dresses, the runways were filled with the decade old trends.Chloe A collection for the free spirit, filled with white lace, baby-doll dresses, and peasant tops, it is ideal for the boho chic gal. Claire Waight Keller created a line described as romantic and rustic. The lace-up gladiator sandals were paired with many of the feminine dresses making us say ‘ooh la la!’IMG_0159 Valentino Lace and gladiator boots were also trends of this SS ’15 collection. We also saw gorgeous gowns with impeccable beading and draping. The sheer fabrics created a romantic feel and the sea elements, such as starfish beading and shell printed fabric, also gave us a sense of the ocean. Valentino meets mermaid? Oui, Oui!IMG_0171 ChanelSticking to what Chanel does best, the perfect tweed suit sets were taken to a whole new level. With bright pinks, purples, and yellows amongst the colors used in this collection, they were paired with some big bold floral and other 70-inspired prints! The Chanel finale was possibly the most talked about event of PFW. Models marched in protest for Women’s Rights with signs and all. Let’s just say the clothes weren’t the only thing making a statement.IMG_0160 DiorIt wouldn't be Paris Fashion Week without a dose of Dior. Sticking to its famous silhouettes and a black and white color palette, this collection was Parisian chic. The black leather trench coat is most definitely on my must-have list for spring! J’adore Dior.IMG_0153 Sonia RykielKendall Jenner and Miranda Kerr were amongst the few famous supermodels in the Sonia Rykiel runway lineup. The white, bright orange, hunter green, and navy blue tones paired well together and were used in many of the different materials, such as fur and silk. The A-list celebs paired well with the amazing collection.IMG_0166 GivenchyDefinitely never knew I needed a pair of knee-high leather peep-toe boots until after seeing the Givenchy SS '15 collection.
