Tom Daguanno, has the design background and Max Schmidt comes with business background… which gives them, the perfect "fit" for this cool, new, and needed venture! 1701 Bespoke, is a clothier specializing in custom fit suits, shirts and overcoats.
All garments are made specifically for, and tailored to, the client. Orders take 4 - 6 weeks to arrive.

(SS): "What inspired you & Max to open the shop? Why Detroit?(TD): "Our business is based on traveling. Before the pop up shop we were only doing in-home and in-office fittings around the metro Detroit area. We knew we wanted a permanent shop/office space at some point and opening a temporary shop was a perfect way to test the market. It turns out downtown Detroit was a great place to do it. There are thousands of people working downtown every day – it's an untapped retail market.Bedrock Real Estate Services was a huge help in finding the space we're currently in (the First National Building at 660 Woodward Ave). Their newly renovated lobby is amazing.
