Style Inspiration:

My overall style would be classic. Skinny pants, blazers, flats, scarves and I’m good to go. While I don’t really follow any particular person’s style, I always take inspiration from outfits and color palettes I find on blogs, Pinterest and on TV. I have found a lot of styling inspiration from watching Project Runway over the years. Also, a great bag or a pair of earrings can inspire me to build an entire outfit around it.

Lululemon. While it’s a large chain, I really love what the store in Birmingham has done for the downtown. The store is bright and fresh and delivers on high quality pieces. Also, Ariada Boutique: their window displays always catch my attention.

Rent the Runway. I absolutely love this concept and am inspired by RTR Co-Founders, Jennifer Hyman and Jenny Fleiss. They are proof of women who have successfully used social technology to propel their entrepreneurial endeavors in a big way. They recognized a need and were able to take their passion for fashion, outside-of-the-box thinking, and technology to operate a thriving multi-million dollar business.
