Jessica: I have flair for flares this fall. Many of our customers walk in and try on the new flares we have and feel nostalgic. They wore their flares in the 70s. Well I’m 26, I loved my flares in the late 90s and I love them even more now that I’m 5 inches taller and can wear heels! Talk about elongating your legs, put them on with a pair of heeled booties this fall, like this Frye pair I bought at Sundance and be amazed.
Parker Moc Short Bootie $298.00
These are my two favorite flares right now. The Marjorelle Flare from McGuire in Revel Revel, as pictured, and a dark wash. Another favorite of mine, is more of a boot cut. In case this bell is too drastic, you can ease back into the trend with this Henry and Belle Mini Micro Flare in Rustic, as pictured. The flare may not be a new, innovative style, but it feels fresh and it's been so fun to take a break from a skinny leg by throwing on a flare. You may be wondering how to wear the flare? Well my day time look for this trend is to put on a fitted turtle neck (hint: the turtle neck is another trend right now). I love my sleeveless Theory Wendel Turtleneck from Guys N Gals. It tucks in to jeans perfectly and looks amazing under chunky knit cardigans like this Quinn Tanja Plaited Tuck Stitch Coatigan in Coal Mouline Combo, with that cute Frye boot in black.
Henry and Belle $154
Theory $130
Quinn Cardigan $678
To take this denim from day to night a great blouse is all you need. A few of my favorites that we have a hersh’s. The A.L.C Bond blouse in Ivory or a blouse with the tie neck or the Layfayette 148 Charlie Blouse. Tie it at the neck any way you want and its so chic! As the weather cools down, throw on a leather jacket or a great wrap and I promise you’ll turn heads!
ALC Blouse $395
Layfayette 148 $398
Now we can talk the turtleneck. I think the turtle neck is this Fall’s must have. For one, you can wear one with almost everything but the real reason I love it so much, its the most effortlessly stylish item. Go from stylish to a stylist with a turtleneck. Of course, a turtle neck sweater is great with jeans or even skirts like these…
Autumn Cashmere Uneven Hem Turtle $ 338
Layfayette 148 Tie Dye Turtle $498
Quinn Leda Multi Stitch Poncho $598
360 Sweater $298
Plus many many more. Then the turtleneck look you would never think of, layer it under a dress or jumper. A fitted white turtleneck, or a thin stripe turtle under this ALC Buckle Alice Dress would be dynamite. Don’t forget it looks great under blazers or layered with sweaters.
A.L.C. Alice Dress $545
Now for my can’t live without them items from Hersh’s this fall. The Statement sweaters: Autumn Cashmere Ribbed Maxi Cardigan. We have it in Putty, Charcoal, and Black. Its effortlessly cool worn open with jeans or skirts. If your really daring wear it as a dress with boots.

For just a funky, fun sweater. I love this crystal Queen of E.vil N0 1 Cares Cashmere sweater. Its a crew neck sweater but its pictured with a matching scarf.
Queen of E.vil "N0. 1 Cares" $292
Autumn Cashmere outdid themselves with the Oversized Convertible Cowl Sweater, and get this, you can wear it two ways. I really love a good two-fer.
Autumn Cashmere Cowl Sweater $450
Part of the reason I am so in love with the Convertible Cowl is because it looks incredible with over the knee boots. I have the Stuart Weitzman Suede and I am constantly trying to find any excuse to wear them. I have been planning outfits around these boots. This sweater is one outfit and the 360 Luisa Cape with the boots is another.
360 Luisa Cape $506
If you don’t already own this dress, I would recommend trying this one! Its the perfect LBD, a timeless piece, and a closet staple. Thank you DVF for the wrap dress, its figure-flattering and its in comfortable stretch jersey.
