As a full time working Mom it is so essential to me that I always stay on trend and stylish, but in a functional way. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of times where sweat pants and worn-in tees are my go-to comfort pieces, but when I am out and about I always like to look put-together!

As a Mom and a blogger, at the top of my spring essentials list, is great denim! There are so many denim trends on deck for the upcoming seasons and my theory is, why not rock em all!? Currently, I am LOVING the super distressed denim from One Teaspoon. They give ease to any outfit and allow you to feel instantly cool, even if you’re just sporting a white tee and sneakers!

Speaking of sneakers, they are quickly turning in to my new favorite footwear must-have! My family and friends will ALL tell you that I am always in heels, and it is the truth! But, come summer, I live in my sandals and, now, sneakers. Currently, my favorite pair in my closet are my Golden Goose slides. Though the price tag is hefty, they are such a wise purchase; especially if you wear your sneakers! More affordably, these TOMS from Sundance are fab! Under $100 and minimal in style and color? Check and check!

Graphic tees are so on trend and super easy to rock, especially as a mom on the go! I am quickly filling my shelves with them because I can wear them alone with a pair of jeans or denim shorts; or I can wear them on a night out under a blazer. Such an easy way for a Mom to link trends and fashion, to function! Some of my favorite graphic tees are from Sam & Lex Boutique.

Another closet topper of mine is a chic jacket. Trench coats are SO IN, at the moment, and this one from Orleans + Winder is perfect for spring! This is perfect for days with a cool breeze; I can bring it with me while running errands or playing on the swings at the park with my daughter. A total must-have!

Any mom will tell you that she needs a substantial bag that isn’t a pain, literally, to lug around. We always have to be prepared with snacks, diapers, sanitizer, sunscreen…and lip gloss, duh! Not to mention our wallets! The bags from Athalia’s boutique, Zieben Mare and Love Travels Imports are super cool no matter if you’re a boho babe, or a minimalist mama. Though, as a mom I pride myself on practicality, there are definitely some trends I have my eyes set on this spring. Specifically, the bare shoulder trend is up there with my favorites! I posted this top {right} a few days ago, but it is seriously my most favorite top in my closet right now! Additionally, the romantic trend has stolen my heart. This dress from Alexis leaves me utterly speechless, but the blouses this season have me swooning too! They are great additions to your closet for date nights or special occasions. Lafayette 148 has a gorgeous silk sleeveless blouse available at Hersh’s, which I own in black! I have worn it out on date nights and even to rehearsal dinners! Similarly, the Bec and Bridge keyhole blouse is a total knockout!

Finally, what would any outfit be without some bling?! I have always loved long necklaces and my personal favorites have come from Guys N Gals and Ella Design (if you’re a local shopper). Their pieces are so unique and they can be paired with both casual and fancy outfit choices. Right now I am loving; this crystal necklace; this double feather necklace; this diamond disc; and this large dagger necklace.
