No matter what kind of obstacle a woman may be facing in her life, she wants to always feel special and to look beautiful. Karen MacDonald, designer and owner of Wrapped in Love, is doing just that for the hundreds of women who face breast cancer around the world.
Wrapped in Love, a fashion accessory line designed to provide warmth, beauty and dignity for hospital patients, those going for chemotherapy and infusion treatments, or those who are convalescing, debuted a new ' pink' fleece wrap for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. The new style wraps around the shoulders and tucks in front featuring a beautiful draping affect. It is complemented with Wrapped in Love's signature flower pin. It retails for $70.00, and 10% of each sale will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The new design was created with input from a focus group of cancer patients and survivors, who provided their thoughts on style, color and fabric choices.
The new style will also be featured in coral, black and camel in time for the upcoming holidays.
"The ladies enjoyed participating in the fashion focus group, and their input was critical in determining what this new style of wrap looked like. I'm thrilled to have had so many wonderful people provide their inspiration in the development of Wrapped in Love. Later this month a number of these ladies will also participate in a Wrapped in Love photo shoot showcasing the new designs."
