Five Leaves, 18 Bedford Avenue

Nibble on oysters and kale salad while you scope out the great street fashion. And if it’s after 5 p.m. (or earlier—who are we to judge?) make sure you get a cocktail, the Purple Rain and the Five Leaves Bloody Mary are legendary.

Space Ninety 8, 98 North 6th Street

http://www.spaceninety8.com/

Yes, this is technically an Urban Outfitters. But you may not recognize it among all the locally designed pieces, gigantic hair and makeup section, and the gorgeous bar and restaurant. Local Brooklyn artists featured include Cold Picnic and Psyche Jewelry. And don’t leave without trying the bacon-wrapped matzo balls from the Gorbals. Yeah, it’s a thing.10603494_704379486265440_5124250369266906817_n
