It was an evening to remember, on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014, the annual Best Dressed Celebration hosted by Hour Magazine and Neiman Marcus. Below are are some of the evening highlights. 5pm: Pre-event cocktails and mingling at the beautiful and historic, Whitney! While "champagne hour" was a packed house, I was thrilled to catch up with fashion & lifestyle blogger, Paige Larson, from Fiftyfifthandsixth. Also, before the show,I had the chance to meet, stylish, Samantha Harris, our lucky winner of the nights festivities {2 FREE tickets give away}! 
As guests exited The Whitney, the sun was going down on the city, and we waited along Woodward for the Shuttle provided by Hour Magazine to drop off the last group of guests (us included) at the Fillmore Theatre. Upon arriving at the Fillmore, the ambiance was elegant and full "fashion enthusiasts", our favorite kind; beautiful people wearing beautiful (and creative) outfits. Throughout the main floor, DJ Prevu provided music and guests kept busy while socializing with some of Detroit's finest, noshing on delicious appetizers, perhaps our favorite was the Chez Chloe mini lava cakes, and waiting to snap a picture in the Snap Tap photo booth (which was a big hit). Better then expected, the Fillmore Theatre was full of excitement.

The brilliant, Ken Dewey (Style Advisor for Neiman Marcus, Troy in the Somerset Collection) introduced the theme of the runway show. Major themes: Fifty Shades of Grey, Global Gal, Pops of Animal Print, Tailored power suit and outwear. Below are some of the Styleshack favorites and best looks from the Runway. Of course, what made this runway show superb and engaging, were the nights honorees, Hour Detroit's 2014 Best Dressed Winners strutting their stuff.
