unnamed-8When the white tents pop up in Bryant Park, the Peacocks are waiting patiently outside Lincoln Center for their photo to be taken by hopefully Bill Cunningham, and models are not only owning the runways but the streets of New York, we know Fashion Week has officially begun.New York Fashion Week kicked off on Sept. 4 and ended Thursday leaving every one of us fangirling for the Spring/Summer 2015 lines to hit stores.Unless you are Anna Wintour or Sarah Jessica Parker, it's safe to assume you didn't score a front row seat to Calvin Klein's show, but no worries! We'll fill you in. With chiffon dress after chiffon dress and enough pastels and florals to last a lifetime, we decided to pick out the crème de la crème of the 100-something collections to show you the most talked about trends!DelpozoThe Spanish designer who launched his career as a designer in the mid-70s, Jesús del Pozo, stepped outside the pastel color pallet most designer used. Bright red, green, yellow, and dark navy contrasted with white and cream gave his structured garments an even bolder look. Dress and skirt hems seem to be pretty long, perhaps a trend we see in other designers.unnamed-5 Christian SirianoWe fell in love with his fierce personality on Project runway and he has yet to disappoint. The Christian Siriano SS '15 line is ultra-feminine. The full skirts, pleats, ruffles, and three-dimensional textural fabrics make the collection everything you would want to wear to a classy brunch with your gals or to a special evening event!unnamed-4CoachThe all-American brand stepped a bit outside it's traditional classic look and sent a funky, colorful, and young collection down the runway this season. The models were decked head to toe in pastels, fur, and graphic sweaters. Leather and knits were also amongst the list of textiles used to create the spring line. The chunky heel loafers made us swoon.unnamed-6Thom BrowneThom Browne put on one of the most avant-garde shows of the week. Some could also describe the look as kitschy, but the use of patterns, silhouettes, and amazing hats had the fashion community drooling. Who wouldn't want to wear a huge hat that looks like a sunflower?! Thom Browne's creative collection leaves us excited to see how these garments will transition into RTW.unnamed-7Screen Shot 2014-03-18 at 1.25.09 PM
