"Being a working girl in the D – Detroit, that is – a lot of things can be dicey. My social agenda, for one, sometimes is filled to the brim with events. Other times, I find myself blissfully at peace with absolutely nothing to do. The weather is also a wild card: from a torrential downpour, to that unmistakably, almost-autumn breeze, a girl’s gotta have options. That’s why when putting together looks for the nine Styleshack archetypes, I chose to prepare for an array of different moments in the city.
