The LBD (Little Black Dress) According To Cream & Sugar, Please:
With summer officially kicked off after this past weekend, we know our LBD will be in heavy rotation for the next few months. From happy hours to weddings to work outings, the little black dress is the perfect foundation piece to style up, dress down, and then take for a spin around town!
As style bloggers over at Cream & Sugar, Please, we are always trying to come up with new ways to wear the items we already have in our wardrobe. Starting off with a basic like an LBD and then building off of that based on our StyleShack archetypes was a challenge we were very excited to dive into.
CLASSIC – Mioara

This totally describes me! While I live in t-shirts most days, I enjoy slipping into a pencil skirt and nude pumps for an evening out. I’m drawn to classics that flatter the feminine form and tend to shy away from the season’s hottest trends. When I styled my LBD I tried to select pieces would easily turn into staples in my closet and could be used to accessorize other outfits as well.

ROMANTIC – Amity

Since the majority of my closet is made up of flowy fabrics (mostly in blush pink), I would agree that my style is pretty romantic. I tend to pick out pieces that are feminine and soft, while always trying to focus on one statement item – whether it be a bold lip or a funky shoe. For my LBD, I went with my summer favorites, like this pink lipstick that has become my go to shade for the season. I also am dying over the Coachella necklace – it’s not dainty or delicate but definitely jeweled and gorgeous!
