{SS} What inspired you to the start the Store?
{J+B} Lets face it, everyone wants the newest look, trend or whatever the "it" item is at the moment. Most girls don't want to wait until their favorite look goes on sale or shop in a “big box” environment and hope they can find it. We all secretly dream we can buy like the" rich and famous" or at least be treated like the privileged few. But we cant! Well, that’s why Ruby and Jenna opened their doors. So you can get what you love and not just settle.
{JL} Ruby and Jenna is fun, ever changing fashion at reasonable prices: with no attitude sales help… biggest no, no to my mom and me. Our motto is if you can’t find it today there is always tomorrow. We receive merchandise every day. So we don't have to tell you that you look fantastic in something when you are not feeling it.. We want you to leave the store" in love" , not "in like." And it's working! We now have multiple locations throughout New York, Connecticut, & New Jersey (in total 9 stores) and to some of our shoppers, we may be their addiction… lol. No more counting your credit card bills when your are closing your eyes at night, you can go back to counting sheep (if that is your thing).
{SS} What new products are you loving in the store, right now?
{JL} I am loving anything that is bohemian or crochet right now! Short floral dresses, stone head bands, daisy headbands, tribal headbands etc. (worn on your forehead) We saw a lot of this look at Coachella and will be seeing this style into late summer. The 
more rips the better! Boyfriend jeans, straight legs, frayed shorts, overalls and shortalls!!
Cute sexy rompers that look like super short dresses especially the floral ones are very easy to wear. Speaking of sexy, OMG jumpsuits… {sexy yet sophisticated}! Spring is such a great time to have fun and try new looks out!
{SS} Currently, do you have a favorite style or trend you are wearing?
{JL} I am basically a casual dresser so this is a great season for me. Spring is finally here, and I am already living in my boyfriend jeans.If I am working in the stores, its super casual for me right now.
I will put on long sleeve peasant top or a rocker tee. This seems to work for me. I will throw on one of our faux leather jackets or a super cozy light weight spring sweater if it is a little nippy in the air (which it usually is).
At night time, I switch it up, I will still wear my boyfriend jeans but I will put on what we call a going out top, probably something that is crochet or something that has a little fringe. The boots come off and the heels go on.
{SS} In regards to YOUR personal style, do you have a signature look or accessory?
{JL} Can’t go any where without TONS of fun accessories on! Whether it’s my new hand chain with ring or headbands! I’m loving that they are jazzing up any outfit!
{SS} A few items in your "Styleshack" (aka) closet that you can't live without?
{JL} Being in this crazy business my closet is always changing with the newest trends but I always hold on to any of my blazers and jackets. For years I’ve been collecting branded and non – branded fun blazers that can update any look and I love it!!
{SS} Who or What inspires your personal style? Favorite Style Icon?
{JL} My mom…She is funky and out there and always willing to try new things!! She has her own true personal style and she can rock anything!! She is adventurous but if she thinks it looks too young for her, she makes me wear it!

{JL} I hate to be so boring but I love plain old Instagram! I think it’s such a good way for everyone to show their personal style and promotes individuality!
